How SKJ Outdoors Used the Ned Palmer Lure to Catch Multiple Smallmouth Bass on the Susquehanna River

The Ned Palmer lure is a must-have for any smallmouth bass angler's tackle box. The success of this lure has caused it to rise in popularity, particularly among those who fish for smallmouth bass. An experienced fisherman by the name of SKJ Outdoors recently ventured out on the Susquehanna River with a Ned Palmer lure and caught a mess of smallmouth.

According to SKJ Outdoors, "I gave one to a guy who was bank fishing, he caught his first smallmouth bass. He had been waiting for three hours. And then BOOM! Within 15 mins he crushed it. Best Ned rig I’ve ever used.  " This demonstrates how well the Ned Palmer works. It's simple enough for inexperienced fishermen to utilize effectively.

In terms of construction, the Ned Palmer lure is superior to all others for catching smallmouth bass. Smallmouth bass can't resist this soft plastic lure, which swims and wiggles like a worm or small baitfish. A Ned rig, in which the lure is affixed to a jig head and fished slowly down the bottom, is ideal for using this bait. The Ned rig is productive because it simulates the behavior of smallmouth bass's natural prey.

SKJ Outdoors added, "I’m just so happy to finally have a solid soft plastics company I can trust and count on. They held up so well. Used 2 and lost one right away on a rock. Will be ordering more here soon!"

The Ned Palmer lure is an excellent choice for catching smallmouth fish. SKJ Outdoors has tested this lure extensively on the Susquehanna and found it to be the best Ned rig lure available.  Check out the video!
