2. Owner Twist Lock Hook
We love using an owner twist lock hook, optionally paired with a 16-ounce weight, to give it a bit more heft, making it perfect for skipping over lily pads. This setup gives the frog a subtle fluttering motion, resembling a struggling frog, which absolutely entices fish to strike. Here's how we set it up:
- Use a 3/0, 1/16 ounce owner twist lock hook
- Insert it into the rigging nose of the Techno Frog, ensuring it hangs straight
- Find the right spot to secure the hook, making it completely weedless
